Happily Never After: Dead of Night (BM-XL195) - Single Plate
WHAT IS NAIL STAMPING?
Description
Details
OurĀ Dead of Night (BM-XL195) nail stamping plate is inspired by the midnight spell undone in the classic storybook fairy tale, Cinderella. A dream quickly turns into a nightmare once the clock strikes 12. Tell a fantasy disillusioned with thorny vines, brittle skeletons, revolting rats, and the scraggly spines of the chilling woods. This XL (4.25in x 2.4in) plate offers an array of accent, full nail, and buffet-style designs for you to rewrite the ending as you please. As with all our nail stamping plates, we use laser-engraved stainless steel, so you'll receive the highest quality and most intricate results.

"5 simple steps" for nail stamping

Apply Creative Art Polish over your selected design on the nail stamping plate.

Holding your scraper card at a 45-degree angle, gently scrape excess polish off the design towards the edge.

Move quickly! Using the squishy part of your stamper, pick up the image with an up and down technique.

With the design transferred to the stamper, place the design onto your nail bed using a smooth rolling motion.

Seal your design with our No Smudge top coat and swoon!

Love the thorn motif!
This is such a fun, edgy take on fairy tale imagery. I love the thorns and how all of the designs complement each other.

Spooky Autumn Vibes
I love how there are so many different elements to pull from this stamping plate! I used just the branches and crows to create an eerie autumnal look that doesnāt scream HALLOWEEN. But then I added a gorey eye from the Sandy Claws plate. I would recommend using Maniology stamping polishes on the finer details like the crows and branches. I tried Twinkled T black stamping polish and as evidenced by my branches, the pick-up was not as good. I switched to Maniology polish for the crows. I love this plate so much I went back and ordered the entire Happily Never After set! Iām just a novice, this is only my 3rd maniology manicure and I can say this plate was a bit more of a challenge to use but if you stick with it, youāll get the hang of it within a few tries!

Spooky Fairytale Vibes
I love the various themes I can pull from these plates. Just using the branches and crows alone, you can create an eerie autumnal vibe that doesnāt necessarily scream HALLOWEEN. Though I added an eyeball from another stamping plate for extra gore. I will say I learned my lesson and the delicate branches and smaller crows really need the maniology stamping polish. I tried Twinkled T black polish initially and the pick up (as evidenced in the branch photo) was not as clean as it couldāve been. After getting this plate, I went back and bought the whole fairytale set. Canāt wait to try them!

Dark and twisted
I absolutely love this plate. The images stamp really well and the only way I could love Disney princesses more than I do is by adding a dark twist to them. This plate is perfect!
