already cracking open, and fit challenges
I spent quite a lot and ordered a bunch of these in all the sizes. I was SO excited to start organizing my plates and supplies. First, I noticed several of the grommets were poorly placed around the holes, but I hoped it wouldn’t matter. Then, I noticed that my round and square small plates were nearly impossible to remove after inserting them in the smallest sheets, as was also the case for many XL plates with backing cards in a fully loaded sheet. Then many un-backed plates slide out if I accidentally tilt the binder at all. Now, worst of all, they’re only a few months old and several are splitting at the seams and I haven’t even been using the plates in those sheets! apologies for typos — this form isn’t working in mobile Safari on my iPhone; I have to type blind and can’t go back To edit or even copy all to compose this I’m a document then cut and paste all at once. I’m very disappointed and fairly upset at how much I spent for these. I sort of solved the impossible-to-remove issue by buying hundreds of post-it index tabs; I stick one to the back of each plate to use as a pull-tab to remove my small plates (BMC brand and other common brands.) Again, I can’t see what I’m typing, so sorry for mistakes!
Best for organizing
This is the best way to organize all my stamping plates. All my plates can be in one spot while being able to find easily.
Build Your Own Nail Plate Storage
I was glad to find a storage case for many of my stamping plates. Overall I was very happy with the purchase. I like the fact that the grommets had metal around them to prevent tearing. However, I wish the grommets were slightly larger as it is a little bit difficult to turn the pages in the binder. Also, I wish the set contained pages for the larger 5 x 7 plates that can be found. Other than that I think it is a great set.
Perfect Solution for Plate Storage
I am really happy with these build your own plate storage things. All other plate storage systems I ever tried never fit exactly what I needed, but these are just right. I bought my own Trapper Keeper style binders, a zip-up one, and I have all my plates stored in order by what sort of designs are on them. It really hopes me to find exactly what I'm looking for when I am in a hurry to create a masterpiece. Thank you. The only suggestion I have for Maniology is to create some binders that have maniology imagery on them to go with this cool invention.
Very helpful with storing, it does the job. The stay weird plate (shaped like bows) are a little loose in the pockets but it's manageable. Overall I'm very happy with this product.
