By Carol Wu  •  0 comments  •   2 minute read

Who says Halloween magic has to wait until October? Welcome to Summerween—a playful celebration where eerie meets easy-breezy, and your nail art gets a little spooky with a splash of sunshine.

At Maniology, we’re mixing up ghosts, ghouls, and tropical vibes with a special Summerween nail art look. Think jack-o-lanterns in sunglasses, pastel pumpkins, neon spiderwebs, and all the bold color combos that scream both poolside and paranormal.

Whether you’re using your favorite Halloween stamping plates or just want an excuse to bring out your oranges and purples in July, this trend is all about unexpected fun. Here's a look for you to recreate.

Step-By Step Tutorial:

Step 1:
Create a gradient base using Blue Ribbon, One in a Melon, and Skin Deep, either with the sponge method or our Color Block (M319) plate.

Step 2: Pick up the shaka hand design on MXM111 and color in the hand with Front Page, a light gray perfect for zombie hands.

Step 3: Using Yuletide Yellow and Melt, mix the colors and fill in the moon with the colors.

Step 4: Using Bam! White and Blue Ribbon, mix the colors to fill in the ocean.

Step 5: Once dry, apply Sticky Base to your nails, wait til tacky and transfer the reverse stamping design to your nails.

Step 6: Use a clean-up brush dipped in acetone to gently remove excess polish around your cuticles.

Step 7: Apply Smudge Free Top Coat to protect your designs.

Summerween Tips & Tricks:

  • Pair darker spooky motifs with bright, juicy colors to keep things playful.
  • Mix matte and glossy finishes for extra dimension.
  • Stamping on press-on nails? Try layering Summerween designs before applying them!

This look is bold, fun, and totally unexpected—just like Summerween itself. So grab your favorite Halloween plates, summer shades, and start stamping your way into the weirdest, most wonderful season mashup yet.
