I do wish it had layers. This plate would have been awesome with layers. I wish Maniology did more layered plates. If I could do the painting of reverse stamping, I wouldn't need stamping plates! Lol.

I love this plate as it provides a variety of shapes with wizard & magic themes. I practiced a lot of reverse stamping skills with some shapes and had fun. Great plate for Harry Potter fans:)
