Water-based White Peel Off Base Coat

$800

Description

Our One coat water-based peel off base coat is the perfect base for any nail polish, and especially for polishes that are difficult to remove like glitters and flakies. This base coat makes removal of any kind of nail art quick and easy. To use, apply to clean, dry nails, then paint as usual. See below for full instructions.

Instructions:

  • For best results, ensure your nails are clean, dry, and oil-free. A quick swipe with acetone or a nail dehydrator may be helpful.
  • Apply one thin coat and allow to dry completely. It is best to NOT cap the free edge with the base coat. Do not apply polish to a base that isn't completely dry!
  • Apply your polish as usual, making sure to cap the free edge.
  • When you are ready to peel off your polish, lift an edge with an orange stick and peel. To aid in the process, apply a bit of cuticle oil around your nails to help.

Pro Tips:

  • As it is water-based, this product is slower drying (especially in humid weather) than a regular base coat. Placing hands in front of a fan or a blow dryer will speed up the process.
  • For more extended wear, leave a slight gap around the cuticle and sides when applying the peel off base coat. Do not let it touch skin or cuticles. Cover the gap slightly with color base and top coat. Finish by capping the tips of your fingernails with top coat.
  • Do not use if your nails are in distress - peeling, flaking, or other signs of damage.

Works great if you don't want any visible nail line

A very bright white! This is probably my second favorite of the peel off base coats I've tried. It lasts about as long as my favorite peel off base coat (it starts coming off after about 1 day of regular wear) and is probably about as easy to remove as my favorite peel off base coat. What makes it my second favorite is the fact that it is tinted a super bright white color. I do love that it has that color, but it just makes this peel off base coat less versatile than colorless peel off base coats. It's wonderful when I do plan to do an opaque manicure, but sometimes I like to have some visible nail line, and it's just not as useful for that. The quality is good enough though that I am definitely curious to know if Maniology will be releasing an untinted peel off base coat anytime soon! 🤞🤞

Peels off unexpectedly fast

Not sure if I'm applying incorrectly, but the peel off lasted only 1 day on some fingers. I tried to follow the instructions about which layers to seal and which ones not to.

I thought it would last approximately a week. Not the case for me, but I am also rough on my nails.

This is probably useful for people who have time to repaint very frequently or for a special occasion.

works well as a base coat for myself

I was gifted the water-based white peel off base coat, to try out and review. Peel off base coats are always a little hit or miss for me. First time I applied, couldn't get it to dry even after waiting 15-20 minutes. Second try I sat in front of a fan for 15 mins, that did the trick. Photo shows one coat. Very nice and smooth coverage. It just doesn't peel the best for me. It sticks like a regular/traditional base coat. This is a problem for me though, with all peel off base coats. Love it as a base coat, not so much a peel off base coat, for myself.

Best Peely Base I've used

I love this peely base! This one does not peel prematurely, but is easy to peel off when needed. It also does not peel my nail with it, like others have. I will be using this base instead of any other peely from now on. It does go on thin, so it's best to put another coat of regular polish on top.
