Regular polishes might actually work on stamping plates as well, however, stamping polish will work best as they are formulated for such a purpose. For regular polishes, they can work too depending on the formula and opacity. Try with polishes you own that are opaque in 1 coat and they should work.

Would you please peel off the blue film to see if the surface of the plate is actually scratched? If a plate is defective, usually, you can tell visually that etchings are missing. If the surface of the metal plate is damaged, please send us another photo for quality control purposes then we can send you a replacement.
