I have some non-Maniology stamping polishes and these are great to have to swatch the same way.
I love the Peeps and the bunny stamps, Easter as a whole isn’t super my thing though. The totally worth it just for the Peeps
I know there is a lot of flowers in nail design that sometimes you can get sick and tired of. I think with this stamping plate having the jewelry imagery with the flowers really make a nice compliment to each other. There is a lot of way you can play around with the stamping set, but I like that the one example picture with the spots of color blended in the background with a layer flower on top really pulls everything together.
This was in my second monthly box, but definitely this is the first stamping set that built up my confidence to be able to pull off these really nice designs. Just having a white background and the blue stamping polish that made the images very crisp together. I might wanna try other colors like red, but I think this will be my go to when I’m not sure what type of nails I should have or when I’m going to places for a more upscale event.
I am a fan of galaxy and star related art and was very excited to get this in my monthly box. From the example pictures it looks like there’s a gradient or slightly see-through effect that was hard to imitate and layer. Still very nice but it certainly some thing I want to work on.
I was intrigued by the monthly subscription box as I wanted to get into nail stamping, but didn’t know where to start and didn’t wanna buy random plates without knowing what to do. The Koi fish was my first box and it was a great introduction to stamping. I may have not had all the colors available compared to the example pictures but I think I did fairly well.
My own attempt was a little bit clumsy, but from a distance, the colors just really mesh well and you can still understand what I was going for. With the nail polish that was provided. I did use a white gel base first before applying the blue shimmer. I think that helped but I am curious of maybe trying it with a light blue or mixture of blue underneath to see if I can maybe create ripples.
I really enjoyed testing this plate out while going on vacation. I also got the brown stamping polish set to really enhance each layer. I think there’s a lot of potential with this stamping plate along with galaxy or star related stamping plates too. I haven’t found any use for the numbers or map symbols yet compared to the compass icons so that will probably get a little less usage from me.
This is one of my go to plates. I reach for it often. It can give desert, bohemian or Moroccan vibes. It’s great.
So perfect for game day. I was able to do double stamping. The volleyballs turned out so great. The girls loved their nails.
Love the swirls and waves. I was able to create salon quality designs with this plate without having to hand draw the lines.
I love all the designs on this plate (aside from the writing) and can’t wait see using this for many different projects.
Accidentally ordered 2 in 2 separate orders, but I love this color so honestly not upset!
