Dreaming Lotus (M672) - Nail Stamping Plate

Love the lily pads and flowers, but I really love the fish.

Love this plate!

I am not very good at doing this and may not ever get better because I struggle with dexterity because my disability, so I generally stick to single colors per stamp unless there is a layered stamp option. I love koi and wanted a plate that let me do them. Maniology actually has a couple options for koi but this was the first with a more solid design I thought maybe I could do without hand painting colors. I think it’s a lovely design and my nails turned out ok (for my ability). The koi is cute, and easier I think than some plates I have seen but I wish they had a koi plate option that had the solid under stamp and a detailed over stamp so someone with my ability level (or inability lol) could get more detail. I wasn’t able to get the flying crane to work at all. But the standing ones I got ok although my honey thought they were white flamingos lol. The lily pads looked kind of silly without painting in a background color so I skipped those mostly and did the flower part instead which looks ok. The damsel flys or dragon flys looked ok too. I think the larger water motif might be hard to interpret on my small nails better for bigger nails.

Conclusion, I think this is a lovely design but not ideal for my ability level. I think those with better ability and or larger nails will like this better.
