Shoot for the moon! Crystal Moon (m119) was originally released as a bonus gift with our February 2020 Mani x Me subscription box. Bold lunar phases and minimalist geometric patterns work beautifully with an earthy, bohemian design. This stamping plate brings a dreamy, minimalist vibe to any manicure.

"5 simple steps" for nail stamping

1

Paint a generous amount of stamping polish onto a design.

2

Scape off excess polish with the edge of a scraper card, holding it at a 45 degree angle.

3

Quickly, roll the stamper head onto the design.

4

Transfer the stamp onto your nail, using a smooth rolling motion.

5

Finish with a layer of Smudge Free Top Coat

That’s no moon.

This was my first attempt stamping so it’s not insta worthy by any means but I feel like it wasn’t too tricky to get a decent image. I used the gray scale polish set with the medium color for the full moon and the darkest color for the details but used the lightest color for the partial moon background (middle finger) and liked that contrast better. The trickiest part I had with this plate was the background full moon; it’s easy to scrape too much polish out if not using the correct angle to scrape. I would recommend this plate for a beginner. Black polish is maniology ghoul pal and the stars are from the Kelli marissa plate with cozy metallic polish
