Garden Soiree (M558) - Nail Stamping Plate

While I love this plate, especially the glass greenhouse design that I used for a set inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena, this review is more about the accessibility that Maniology’s stamping plates provide. I’m a schizophrenic and the medication I need to manage my symptoms causes extreme hand and eye tremors. Maniology has offered a way back into nail art since my diagnosis. They’re not the only brand making nail stamping plates, but they’re certainly the best. Their designs are always so well put together and fun to experiment with. Slowly but surely, I’ll collect just about every plate they make! I’ve always loved to do nails, and though I can’t control my tremors enough to hand-paint designs anymore, Maniology has made it possible once again for me to enjoy coming up with designs and express my creativity. (The silhouette of the girl watering the flowers is from Revolutionary Girl Utena.)

The line work on this is unbelievably beautiful

First time I saw this plate gave me such a strong dreamy and nostalgic feeling. It looks identical to a gorgeous garden I often dreamed about when I was little. I absolutely had to fetch it. Lovely work.
