Stained Glass: Windowed Wilderness (MXM055) - Nail Stamping Plate

The stained glass look seems to be the thing right now but this plate just offers potential for anything. Cool hidden designs embedded from within make this plate different.

I cannot get over how unbelievably gorgeous this plate is, and the stained glass manis you can make with it are breathtaking. You need both this and its partner plate, MXM056, but if I HAD to choose only one, I'd get MXM056 because that one looks more like traditional stained glass windows. But the birds on this, as well as the other animals, are simply adorable, so I say you gotta get them both. Don't forget to get the jelly Rainbow Splash collection polishes from Maniology to color in the image, not regular stamping polish if you want that stained glass look. And lead lighting, where you don't reverse stamp and apply but rather color directly on the already stamped black outline right on your nail is so easy, anyone can do it. That said, this stained glass mani did take a long time for me to get just right due to the need for the colored in parts to be see through yet pigmented enough to actually look colored in, and the background needs to be right to look stained glass. Which brings me to the flakies. Oh, my goodness, do NOT skip the Crushed flakies that originally came with this kit (which you can get separately on Maniology now) as this MAKES this mani. Those are messy yet incredibly easy to apply to tacky metallic silver base polish (and silver polish will do, doesn't have to be stamping polish). This is, hands down, one of my most favorite mani I've ever done. Thank you, Maniology, for making being creative with my nails so fun and easy!

I like this plate so much… the result is amazing, although it took me a good hour with trial and error. I look into YouTube Channels and found how to do it. I think from all the stamping techniques I currently know, this was the most exciting and innovative to try (but I am not a pro 😅) next time I will try with more transparent nailpolish for the reverse stamping.

Less scary than the others I've tried. Still tough to get the colors right but stamps beautifully.
