Mythos Collection: Turmeric Sun (B198) Mustard Yellow Stamping Polish

I love funky earth tones. I think “mustard” often makes people think yellow. It’s not that this isn’t “mustard”, it’s just a darker, stone ground kind. Don’t love how it looks over darker shades, but over light colors, it’s a new favorite.

This was not at all what I was expecting, the colour is much more dynamic than the photos show. I thought it would be more of a yellow colour but it doesn't really look the way I expected. I think I will still get a lot of use out of it though and am still satisfied with my choice!

The polish itself is quality. But it's not mustard yellow. It's actually honey mustard brownish green. If you're looking for a true mustard muted type yellow, I would pass on this. Thankfully, it's still a useful color because I have used it for other things.

This polish stamps well. But, it’s not completely opaque over black, which causes the color to change slightly. I gave it 4 stars. It is similar to Pistachio. In the attached pics, Pistachio is on left and Tumeric Sun is on the right.

The formula for this polish is great, just like all the other stamping cremes, but the color is rather misleading. The pictures show it being a nice mustard yellow (which is also what it looks like when I take a picture of it), but it's actually way more green and dark irl. I hate to say it, but it almost reminds me of a puke color...
