Negative Space: Starry Night (m024) - Nail Stamping Plate

Love combining this with other plates that have planet, moon, space themes.

The aesthetic of this plate is soooo cool but it is so challenging that I've given up on it for several reasons. For short, natural nails, this plate is not very dynamic. Most of the icons are so large that if you only put a partial print or even center the icon and lose the perimeter it doen't look like a distinct object but it also doesn't look like an abstract pattern. The most challenging aspect of this plate is the fine lines and details. Even using maniology-brand stamping polish, I struggle to get a clean print on the first try. lots of peeling or missed lines that make the print too sloppy to use. The issue is even worse with glitter and holographic polishes. I have procured some cool looks from this plate but unfortunately I get frustrated with it every time I pull it out.

I have had to be very careful with Maniology's space-themed plates lately because they have been sneaking occult imagery (eyes, Luna moths, horned god/devil) into them, like Starlight M552 and the Mani x Me Dec 24 monthly. They assert that they don't promote any religions, but lately they seem to be promoting occult and witchcraft on unsuspecting nail artists. Thankfully, this is a safe/neutral plate.

This is probably my most used plate (thus far) that I own and it is so good EVERY TIME. This picture really doesn't do the plate and it's options justice, but I wanted to include it anyway. I have used white polish over a variety of colors to create a cool space vibe but have also used different colors with different elements to layer the space pieces and make something really cool. It's super easy to use large or small elements of this plate as well, because the entire thing stamps with ease.
