How long have you been doing nail art?

"I believe in 2011."

How did you first learn about nail stamping?

"I googled “easy nail art” and pop goes Bundle Monster, and I was intrigued!"

What do you love about nail art and how has Maniology nail stamping improved your life?

"I love being able to express myself and my unique style through nail art. It also reflects my character. I enjoy being in my little corner and bringing out the creativity I didn’t know existed. Watching those Maniology lives and videos on YouTube definitely improved my nail art stamping journey!"

What inspired the designs for your stamping plate and which design on your plate is your favorite?

"I love alligators! I think they’re fascinating! Besides, there aren’t really stamping plates out there that are truly dedicated to the reptile, so I wanted to make that happen. Also, it’s my nickname! But I swear, I’m a lot nicer and I have a bigger brain than actual gators. 😉 All designs on my plate are awesome, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the one holding the nail polish bottle!"

Where do you find creative inspiration in your daily life? Are there any specific artists who influence you the most?

"Exploring new places! Pretty much observing everything around me. Boundless possibilities! Even deep conversations with friends stimulate new ideas and creativity."

If you were a Maniology stamping polish, which one would you be and why?

"Boba 100%! It’s THE perfect brown with purple. I always gravitate towards this shade instead of black. Boba goes with everything, especially in the autumn season, which is my favorite time of the year."

What is something you wish you had known about nail stamping when you first started? 

"Be kind and patient to yourself. Take your time and wait enough time to let your art dry. It’s better to wait than to do it all over again! I can’t tell you the amount of times I had to redo my masterpieces because of my impatience. Sometimes your nail art will work perfectly and sometimes it won’t. Keep practicing, and eventually, you’ll get where you want to be. Above all, have fun and let it produce joy!"

What does "self-love" and "self-care" mean to you?

"To me, self-love is about valuing your own worth and recognizing that you are worthy of love and respect in all areas of life, while self-care is the part of self-love that involves you taking care of yourself. Like taking care of your well-being, having enough sleep, eating healthy, and engaging in activities that bring you joy! Such as nail stamping."

What other creative hobbies do you enjoy?

"I have so many hobbies! I’m never bored! Not sure if they’re creative, but I’m very athletic. I enjoy playing softball, volleyball, roller skating, snowboarding, and rock climbing. When I just want a chill day, I take my coloring books and art supplies to coffee shops or Barnes and Noble to color!"
