This year, we’re going beyond the studio and taking our inspiration global.
Maniology’s 2026 World Tour is a year-long journey through nail art inspired by the rich culture, artistry, and design traditions from around the world.
Each month, we explore a new destination, translating elements of its history, textiles, patterns, creatures, and visual identity into stamping plates designed to spark creativity. This isn’t just about where we’re going. It’s about what we discover along the way.
From Culture to Nail Art
Every destination begins with research and exploration.
We look closely at:
- Traditional textiles and fabric patterns
- Historical art and decorative motifs
- Architecture, nature, and everyday design
From there, our designers interpret these elements into something new, designs that feel inspired, but still wearable, versatile, and unmistakably Maniology.
The goal isn’t to replicate. It’s to capture a feeling and translate it into something you can create with.
Our Journey So Far
🇯🇵 January: Japan
Our World Tour began in Japan, where design is rooted in balance and intention.
This collection focused on:
- Sakura Showers, capturing the fleeting beauty of cherry blossom season
- Traditional Ukiyo-e prints, with flowing compositions and balanced forms
- Temari folk art, known for its intricate geometric patterns and vibrant symmetry
- Kimono fabrics, featuring layered motifs and elegant textile-inspired designs
-
Sashiko stitching, with its delicate, rhythmic patterns rooted in heritage craftsmanship

🇨🇳 February: China
In February, we explored the depth and artistry of Chinese cultural design—where nature, symbolism, and storytelling come together in beautifully expressive ways.
This collection drew inspiration from:
- Traditional mountain and water (shanshui) paintings, with flowing landscapes that evoke calm and movement
- Bamboo forests, symbolizing strength, resilience, and quiet elegance
- Lotus flowers paired with Chinese poetry, blending visual beauty with written expression
- Beloved cultural icons like the giant panda and red panda, adding a touch of charm and playfulness
The result was a collection that felt both serene and rich in meaning; balancing softness, symbolism, and intricate detail.

🇷🇺 March: Russia
In March, we explored the richness and ornamentation of Russian artistry, where bold detail and decorative tradition take center stage.
This collection drew inspiration from:
- The kokoshnik headdress, with its regal shapes and intricate, crown-like detailing
- Classic Russian porcelain, featuring delicate roses and ornate floral arrangements
- Russian lacework, known for its fine, intricate patterns and airy elegance
- Khokhloma motifs, with their signature flowing forms and richly decorative style
The result was a collection that felt expressive and ornate, layered with texture, contrast, and a sense of timeless craftsmanship.

🇰🇷 April: Korea
Our current stop brings us to Korea, where heritage craftsmanship meets refined, modern beauty.
While this chapter of the journey is just beginning, the first designs draw from iconic elements of Korean art and tradition:
- Najeonchilgi (mother-of-pearl inlay), known for its luminous, iridescent details and intricate craftsmanship
- Hanbok-inspired designs, reflecting the graceful lines and flowing silhouettes of traditional attire
- Dancheong patterns, featuring bold, decorative motifs traditionally found in Korean architecture
These early releases offer a glimpse into a design language that balances structure, color, and elegance, setting the tone for what’s to come.

As we explore each destination, our approach remains the same:
We draw inspiration from cultural design elements while creating something original, designed specifically for nail stamping.
That means:
- Thoughtful interpretation, not imitation
- Designs adapted for usability and versatility
- A focus on creativity and self-expression
Every plate is created to help you build your own look; layered, personalized, and uniquely yours.
A Year of Exploration
The World Tour doesn’t stop here.
Throughout 2026, we’ll continue to explore new destinations; each one bringing a fresh perspective, new textures, and new creative possibilities.
Every month is a new chapter. Every design is a new interpretation. The World Tour is our way of celebrating design in all its forms, past and present, local and global. And we’re just getting started.
