Enter Tessa, creator and nail art hobbyist (as personally described on her Instagram account). With scroll after scroll of endless fresh art work, 104K following and daily postings, which means her account is a labor of love. Upon her collaborative nail plate release, we had a chance to have a Q and A sesh with Tessa and ask her about her love of nail art and stamping:

Talk to us about your inspiration for this collab plate.
I love the creative process of piecing together images from different plates to come up with something new and fresh. I specifically designed this plate with a variety of images and patterns (many inspired by my love of the outdoors) to allow nail artists to build their own unique manicures by mixing, matching, and layering these elements in new ways. I hope it sparks creativity and fun!
How would you describe your signature style?
I think I am most well known for my abstract and negative space designs. I also love to incorporate natural elements and am constantly looking for new and unique color palettes to try.
Where do you find your inspiration for nail art?
There are so many talented people in the nail art community, but I'm also inspired by beauty in other areas of design; pottery, earrings, wallpaper, clothing, accessories, fabric, home decor…the list is endless!
Which design on your collab plate do you see yourself using repeatedly?
That's a tough one! I think I will utilize all of them fairly regularly, but I'll probably use the leaves and floral images the most, since I love adding them to so many of my designs.
If your life is a nail polish; what color is it, and what finish?
A light periwinkle blue with a subtle scattered holo that adds just a hint of sparkle in the sun.
If you can give just 1 single nail art tip, what would that be?
Don't overthink it too much and just enjoy the process! The beauty of nail art is that you can always remove it and start again.
A Maniology product that you can't live without?
Smudge Free Top Coat for sure! The last thing you want after working so hard on your beautiful design is to smear it!
Nail stamping is a journey and the path varies for every artist. If you’re like Tessa who finds beauty from nature or from stylish fabrics, we think you'll find her new collaborative stamping plate to be a staple in your collection, just like a classic LBD (a.k.a Little Black Dress). One you'll find yourself reaching for again and again with so many options to keep you coming back for more.
