This talented Instagram nail blogger is widely known for her colorful reverse stamping skills and easy-to-follow nail art tutorials, but did you know she’s an avid reader and a mom?! We barely find the time to eat breakfast, yet this gal does it all. There’s a lot about @PolishedJess that we didn’t know. Maniology: How and when did you start creating nail art?
PolishedJess: I started getting into nail art back in 2013 after discovering lots of amazing nail artists on Instagram.
Maniology: Is this your first collaborative nail stamping plate? What was the inspiration behind your plate?
PolishedJess: Yes, and it is the most exciting thing ever! I was inspired by two things I love: reading and owls!
Maniology: What makes this collaboration plate different?
PolishedJess: Books! I felt like there needed to be a plate to celebrate the love of reading.
Maniology: Do you have any other creative hobbies outside of nail art?
PolishedJess: I also love to draw and paint in addition to nail art.
Maniology: What is a nail art design that you keep going back to?
PolishedJess: Negative space, it is seriously my favorite addition to any mani.
