YWCA O’ahu Receives $4K Contribution from Maniology through Mani x Me Subscribers

Posted by Tiana Regan

In a world silenced by a global pandemic how do we continue to connect when distance has become our new norm and necessity for health safety?

Like most organizations, we’ve all had to make a hard-right-turn into the digital space of virtual learning, Zoom meetings and working remotely as our sole way to interact with one another - YWCA O’ahu is no exception. During the height of the pandemic, we were planning an activity to engage with the YWCA community, unfortunately like most states, we went into lock down. Any planning ceased after that for the wellbeing of all involved.

Even though we’ve all been faced with the limitations of COVID-19, Maniolgy has continued to partner up with YWCA O’ahu through our Mani x Me Monthly Club subscribers. By becoming a Mani x Me member, you’re not only unboxing your creativity, but you’re also directly helping Hawai’i local women through YWCA O’ahu, a non-profit organization advocating for racial justice, civil rights, women’s economic empowerment and women’s health and safety. Through this partnership we proudly announce we made another contribution to the YWCA O’ahu for $4,000. According to Cara M., Director of Development and Community Relationship, this donation “provides hope to women working towards a better life and supports programs such as Dress for Success Honolulu and Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership.”

Together we’re working toward a better future for the women in our community and we couldn’t do this without our subscribers. Thank you for continuing to support and believe in Maniology.
