If Furry Friends is What You're After - Vics Nails Created a Stamping Plate Just For You!
The theme of this plate, the furrier, the BETTER! We agree that having a soft spot for the our wet nosed, fluffy friends is never a bad thing and if you're looking for a plate with more than just cats (not that there is anything wrong with that), Victoria, the creator behind Vics_Nails created a nail stamping plate that you'll want to cuddle up to.
One of her main inspirations behind this plate is this handsome face is her fur-son and rescue cat, Keith:
We talked to Victoria and ask her what inspired her first nail plate. If you're an animal lover, get ready to saw "awe". Here's what she said:
Maniology: Is this your first collaborative nail stamping plate? What inspired you to come up with your designs?
Vics_Nails: I've always loved animals for as long as I can remember - the fluffier the better - so knew I wanted to do something animal related as my first collaborative project. I definitely have a soft spot for cats the most - my family took in a lot of stray cats over the years and fed them, fixed them up and gave them a place to feel safe. My furry son Keith was the son of one of our rescue cats - he's a sassy sweet cat full of personality who loves to wake you up at 3am running across the bed. I absolutely love that my special little guy features on this stamping plate!
Maniology: Creative expression - do you have any other creative hobbies outside of nail art?
Vics_Nails: When I'm not working my full time job or painting my nails I do like to dabble in a bit of baking, gaming, Netflix or sleep. Sleep is the best. (<<< we totally agree)
Maniology: What is a nail art design that you keep going back to?
Vics_Nails: Gradient with a stamped design over it. It's my favourite combo!

4. What’s your favorite food? Cadbury Caramilk chocolate - I don't know if it's just a New Zealand thing but it's caramelised white chocolate and it is the best tasting thing ever.
5. What’s your favorite band? Green Day
6. Favorite song? Basically any song from the emo era mid 2000's...haha!
7. If you could master one instrument, what would it be? Piano - super classy and elegant.
8. Do you have a tattoo? Nah - I'm to indecisive to be able to put something permanently on my body.
9. Dogs or cats? Cats
10. Best gift you’ve ever received? A giant stuffed Simba soft toy from Disneyland for my 28th birthday this year.
11. What’s your favorite board game? Probably Monopoly, unless I'm not winning then it's not Monopoly.
12. What’s the last country you visited? Japan - been there 4 times and can't wait to go back again.
13. What’s your favorite color? Pink
14. Least favorite color? Brown
15. Best way to de-stress? Painting my nails (how cliche, haha) or playing Sims.
16. If you had one superpower, what would it be? Easy - telekinesis so I can be Jean from X-Men.
17. What’s your favorite flower? Those big daisy looking ones are a pretty choice.
18. Do you bake? I do enjoy a bit of baking. The only thing I can't master is fudge. Any tips on the soft ball stage and mastering that would be appreciated.
19. What is your day job? Account Manager at an advertising agency - it certainly keeps me busy when I'm not painting my nails.
20. Hugs or kisses? Can I choose both?
