You don't need to be a trained nail technician to create beautiful and professional nail art! You can easily design the manicure of your dreams with just a handful of products and some creative inspiration.

You'll need a few of the supplies and products listed above, including nail clippers, a nail file, a nail buffer block, cuticle oil, a base coat, and a top coat. You may also need other times, like a UV lamp, if you'll be making acrylic nails or gel nails.

The key to a gorgeous and flawless at-home manicure lies in the nail art products you'll use. You'll need an array of nail polishes in your preferred colors, as well as nail stamping plates. Nail stamping plates will allow you to design a manicure without freehanding a thing (which can often end in disaster!)

Here's a quick step-by-step guide for doing professional nail art at home:

  1. Prep your nails. Clip, file, and buff your nails as you normally would. Apply a base coat (like our Brightening Base Coat) to protect and seal your natural nails.
  2. Apply your nail polish. Apply 2 to 3 coats of your nail polish in your preferred color.
  3. Use your nail stamping kit. Pick a design from your nail stamping plates and apply it to your nails. Check out the YouTube video below for a quick how-to!
  4. Apply your top coat and cuticle oil. Seal your creations with a top coat and finish up with a cuticle oil.
